First time hatching, set my eggs today!

I set my EE eggs today and hopefully I can get all three of them to hatch! I have been reading a lot about it and have been checking on them often. I am so excited to hatch my first eggs. Any tips from experience?

don't get discouraged if you don't hatch any on your first try, it happens to the best of us.

don't worry if your temp drops a few degrees for a few hours, it happens a lot in nature and wont hurt your chicks - unless its 10 degrees cool for a couple of days. at worst that will delay your hatch. temps over 101 for extended periods seem to kill more chicks than cooler temperatures.

open the incubator for 15 minutes a day, it makes your chicks stronger by adding oxygen, and they kick when they get cool the exercise is good for them.

don't think of it as science, but more as nature and you will be just fine.
