First time hatching

my eggs ar due to hatch in a week and a half. what do i need to put in with the chicks. husband says he knows what he's doing.... but i want to make sure. and vitamins in the water or anything in the food... and what kind of food

Get medicated chick starter crumbles and a feeder tray. Get a waterer and make sure the water level doesn't get deep enough for a chick to accidentally stick his nostrils in while getting a drink. Do not feed laying mash/pellets/crumbles. Enjoy your new fuzzy butts! (And be sure to post pictures!
