First time hatching

What can I feed my 10 week old pharoh DIY style. I have a commercial quail starter for the little ones that shoul be hatching tomorrow. Open for any suggestions. My local co-op doesn't carry milo nor soy meal

No, they need much higher protein, 20-24% at that age, try to get a gamebird feed or turkey starter.

I believe they were asking about making their own feed.

Search the forums, there are a couple of threads about it, but to me its a lot less work to buy a game bird feed.

See I read it as him asking what to feed his 10week old birds cuz he said he had chick starter. The guy I got my original birds from fed them the purina chicken scratch so that's what I feed my adult birds of course I add more protein during breeding season

Which with that species of quail at 10 weeks they are adults

Purina scratch grains is 8% protein, nowhere near enough for any quail at any stage or time of year.
