So one day I got bored and decided to see what it would look like if a silkie and a turken mixed... turned out that there are actual breeds called Showgirl Silkies. Since we have a silkie roo and a turken hen, we thought this might be fun to try. My kids all thought that these look hilarious so we decided to take some of our turken eggs and try to hatch them! We bought our incubator and got it all set up and placed the first couple eggs in. We have hatched eggs from broodies before, but never an incubator, so if there are any tips that you have, I'd love to hear them!
Thank you!

Set the incubator up way before the eggs arrive and get it dialed in. Verify the accuracy of the incubators thermometer and hygrometer by using and external thermometer/hygrometer that you have tested or can trust....
