first time incubation!!

This is my dirst incubation and there on day 14 today.. I tried candling them but I dont know what im looking for I can see a big blob and what looks like blood vessels running every where and a air bubble. There is no bad smell coming from my bator so im guessing all eggs are devwloping? Please help!

Sounds like everything is going well! At day 14 the embryo looks like it takes up almost 3/4 of the egg. Did you candle at day 8 or 9? if not, I recomend doing it then also. You can see everything more clear because the embryo is much smaller at that time. But, from the sounds of it, everything is great!

I did at day 7 and they where much easier to see into and much smaller dark spots.. Im sooooo glad to hear that someone thinks im doing at least OK at this whole incubation thing lol.. Should I candle again before lockdown or just let them alone?

One more question my bator holds 42 eggs with an auto egg Turner could I place half the eggs in on one day and then add the rest a couple days later? I cant get a full bator within 5 days because I dont have that many laying hens.. And if you can infact add more a few days later would.I still start lockdown and take the egg Turner out on day 18? :/
