First time mom - Day one

We knew her eggs were due to hatch soon, so when she left the nest today I looked and saw about six with cracks. Later when I peeked at her she had a little one.

Guinea hens can usually protect their own! They get pretty mean when it comes down to their keets.

If you can keep them in the coop when its raining and in the morning till the dew dries, that would help tremendously!
