I thank ya, lookin forward to gettin fresh eggs by next year. Always been a dream of mine to raise some chickens (along with a dairy cow, unfortunatly my current property does not allow that, shucks), now I finally have the necessary resources to raise chickens anyway.

I desire fresh eggs too and I have had chickens for 4 years now! LOL

To be fair, they are pets and bantams and spend more time broody than they actually do laying

I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
