First time outside!! 🌞 🐥

It’s nearly 60° and they are 5 weeks old today. Thoroughly enjoying the outdoors. Temporary scrap wood for ramps/roosts, cardboard boxes for sand…still putting final touches on the coop and run. It’ll be sad putting them back in the shed later.

They are too cute. Aww they do look the same! Isn’t it great watching them run around. When we moved ours to a bigger space they loved it! It’s neat seeing someone else’s chicks at the same age.

It’s great seeing them have fun. Unfortunately our weather is still a bit cold at night so we will just do day trips until acclimated. The first one went well. I’m going to follow you and your adventures because I love that we have the same birds of the same age

Our weather is still cold too, so we do the same with day trips which they love. I always feel so bad when I have to put them inside. That’s great the first trip went well. I think the coldest I’ve had them outside for a period of time was in the 50’s and it was cloudy and they did great. I think they are hardier than I gave them credit for. I am going to follow your sweet chicks adventures too!

Today they got clumps of grass/weeds. I think it’s a hit.
