I am getting turkeys and meat chickens for the first time this year. Was wondering if I can keep them in the same house together? I have laying chickens and I know to keep them separate but was thinking I could keep all my meat poultry together? Also any suggestions on Turkeys ? I've been looking them up , but would love some first hand advice.
Thanks :)

How many turkeys are you getting?

If you have just a few turkeys, it is actually better to put them with the broilers, at least in the beginning, since turkeys do not know how to eat and drink without someone showing them how. (not kidding! My kids decided that they have negative brain matter)

The broiler chicks eat constantly if you let them, and so are perfect for teaching the baby turkeys to eat and drink.
