First Time, Unknown Breed

This is my first time raising chicks. I picked up 3 chicks at the local feed store and do not know what breed or age they are. I am thinking maybe Barred Rocks but can i some second opinions.

I'd guess BRs, as for age - maybe 3 or 4 weeks-ish, they're smaller than my 7 weeks, but quite a bit bigger than my week olds....

could be males for warmth?- Black sexlinks.. resemble the ones i got once.

ETA: could also be either of the ones above, wait until older..

They look to be right around 3 weeks old.

Can't be sure from the picks, but most likely if they have straight comb it is a BR and a Dom if Rose combed. The pics are blurry around the comb area.

Also, i am going to be using these chicks for laying when they get older. I am going to free range them, in my backyard which is approxamintly 60 yards x 80 yards. I plan on letting them free range all day and put them in the coop at night. I was wondering if i would need to feed them or would the bugs they eat in the yard be enough for them.
