I have a silkie hen that has been broody for the past 22 or 21 days and that's when she laid her 4 egg and starting sitting on them she has been laying for a while now so it was only a matter of time before she went broody, so I let her gather her clutch which is 4 eggs, she was in a pen with a white silkie rooster and they have been together since they were chicks cuz I only bought two, so I know her eggs are fertile I have checked before, so today is ether the 21 or 22 day of laying on them so they should start hatching, but how long should I wait if the don't hatch soon? And if they don't and she is still broody should I get her 4 fertile eggs to try again? This is my first time and hers hatching chicks and she has been a really good broody.

Just went outside to check on her and the make sure the rooster and his new hen were safe in the new chicken tractor because it just stop storming and one of her eggs hatch and has a loud little baby under her so one hatched, had to move its egg shell because it was on top of another egg so I'm glad I checked but her best area is on the ground and she is not soaked cuz her whole run is covered an she is under the coop part she a little damp on top should I move her to her little coop?? The only reason she is not in it is cuz it gets so hot in there so I let her have her nest on the ground cuz it's all covered
