First time with chickens!

Hi everyone. First time owning chickens and so excited. They seem to be doing well except woke up with one chick looked to have had pasty butt. Took care of that and just monitoring her!? I am from Grass Valley, California and have an awesome 15 year old son, 2 dogs and a cat and just added 5 chicks to the crew. Dorothy, Sophia, Rose, Blanche and Lucy
