Hello!

I have a chick that has piped through its egg at the wrong end.. I can hear chirping and rocking but very little progress.
How long do i wait before helping? It been over 10hrs but i would love to not have to assist it!

Thanks so much
(I have attached photos.. hopefully that helps)

leave it alone for now. I just recently had this happen and it finally hatched and is doing great. It may take a little longer for it to hatch then normal. Just remember that since it has piped it can breathe.

Hello.

I am new to this incubation thing and I have 15 guinea eggs that are due to hatch any day now. We noticed that there are 6 eggs that have piped, but there has been no other activity since. I would think I would hear something or see more action but I have not. Any suggestions. Any thing would be helpful.
