First timer

We have a broody hen that has 6 eggs that should be hatching next weekend. This will be our first time hatching and I was Worried....should we separate her and the babies from the rest of the flock? Would all of the others be mean to the babies? I have NO IDEA what to expect!

yes please separate the hen & babies from the flock, I've seen hens kill baby chicks.


Put her in a secluded area with adequate space, food, & water.
