first timer

This is my first hatch. Today is the day. How long dose it take from the first hole (I have one) till brake out?

It can take 10 minutes, it may take 2 days. I think the average is 2-4 hours.

I had chicks out of the egg in about half a day to a day it just varied but I used mama hens for my hatching so I would check in the morning and then in the late afternoon from the first pip. Congrats and please post pics if you are able to. I would love to see the pippers and chicks.

in my experience, from the hole to full hatched took 12-24 hours, but it may different for different location or breed.
