A handful of fresh mixed berries (blue, rasp, and black) a couple of pinches of shredded cheddar cheese, and a slice of 7 grain bread. The berries make Tabasco's beak look pink. Do you think I should tell him?

I'm not sure what the deal is but we there is inter-species bonding over food. Humans can bond with each other or with dozens of other species via treats of all sorts. My chickens thought I was the black plague till I started bringing them plates full of grapes -- now I'm the greatest show on earth. But also the food exchange works for kids in the lunchroom or a dog trainer seeking obedience from a dog... It always comes down to food. The better the food, the better the bond. I think I'll just stretch out on the couch with my chicks and a big ol' pizza.
