The temp here was so nice yesterday that I decided to take the babies outside to enjoy the warm sun, and see grass for the first time. It was windy, but at least the wind wasn't icy! The babies were amazed by everything, from the blowing of the wind to the grass, and everything in between. I got some cute pics, even though for the most part all they did was lay down in the grass and preen themselves, lol. They loved it though, and we're planning a repeat today once it gets a little warmer outside!

I'm not 100% sure of the colors I have, but I think I have a splash, a blue, a silver, and a black. Which would be cool because then I could always tell one from the other! They are cute as a button though and getting soooo big! They are already 3 weeks old, will be 4 weeks on Monday! Man time flies!

Those are great pics, especially that second one! How do they manage to look noble and cute all at the same time?

I think you have 2 splash because I don't think they can come in silver as they are based off of the blue gene system. But I am no expert.

They are adorable.. My Pekins about the same age as yours are going for there first big day trip today... I am taking them for a two hour drive to my block of land in the country... Plenty of room to run around there. Your ducklings are so gorgeous- They do look to be enjoying the outdoors.

My knowledge of duck genes is even less than my knowledge of chicken genes, lol, but I am going off what other people on here said when I inquired about their coloring when I first got them. They told me that my yellow one will be a silver, and so far she (at least, with that attitude I THINK it's a she!) is feathering in white with just a little of a silvery gray on her chest. She's going to be very pretty. I have one of the bluish ones is getting spots on their chest, but the other one is not, their white bib is staying white. That's what makes me think one is a blue and one is a splash. But I guess time will tell. I am just now discovering all the different colors that Swedish come in!

I'm not saying it isn't just going off of my experience from raising them last year. I may be wrong I am not saying I am the know all of Swedish Breeding. But as far as I know they only come in Blue Black and Splash. That being said keep us updated.
