First turkey egg but!!!!

I went today to pick up a tom for my ladies. after my return i noticed the chickens running around with something. after further investigation, i found a turkey egg shell in the hen house and the chicken hens were fighting over it. Will the chickens keep eating the turkey eggs or do I need to separate the turkeys from the chickens?

Not only are they likely to keep eating the turkey eggs they're also likely to begin eating their own eggs. Personally, we have a zero tolerance policy for egg eaters. Watch closely to find out which one started it and cull her.
