well, i got my first wierdy egg the other day. found it under the roost too, so it might qualify as a farty wierdy egg. We had some massive thunder in the middle if the night so I have to wonder if they were peacfully sleeping, with the rain drumming on the coop roof then all of a sudden *KA-BOOOOM* *BWAKAAAK!* *plop* And here is the result
It's definitely a wiredy one. May have nothing to do with the storm., just a general malfunction perhaps, but her eggs have been fine since. It was just a very firm yolk in that thick membrane, no white, no shell. I gave the yolk part to the dog, but that membrane was just too weird to feed anybody.
