First Yogurt..

Well, I went and got some yogurt for the birds today, as a treat.. They didnt know what to do with it at first.. Aurora, my RIR Hen was the only one that would take it on the outside of the coop.. (It looks dirty, cause I was trying to get them to taste it, so I added some scratch..)

Once I got it into the coop, and Aurora was eating it, Onyx, my RIR Roo came to investigate, and got to get some.. Then the two little Orpingtons came over..

They were funny though, and didnt eat much.. They are very clean birds, and hated the yogurt on their beaks.. They kept rubbing them on each other and the floor to get it off.. LOL..

Oh, and found out that they dont like raspberries.. They all tried them, spit them out, looked at me, and shook their heads no.. It was really cute..

mine got yogurt for the firsttime last week... I have silkies and didn't want them to make a mess with it so I mixed it with their chick starter and made little balls... they will only eat it if I hand feed it to them...strange little darlings

they are so adorable! mine love yogurt w. oatmeal and a T of apple sauce. ;-)

I love to feed mine yogurt exspecially the Roo he gets it on his waddels and the shakes his head trying to get it off

My winged pigs will eat anything I put on the ground near them. Try a piece of watermelon - its hysterical!!!
