lol now you got me thinking about fishing. I'm out of town for work and West Texas and there's no water for hundreds of miles. Gotta get back to Corpus Christi soon so I can grab the kayak and do some fishing the red fish and black drum have been really Hitting good lately.

We are fishin fools! We have two ponds on our 40 acres that we just stocked...so no fishing in them for a bit (unless we want to feed stunted breem to the chickens). However, we'll slap the jon boat on the truck and head over to the ol' coal pits whenever the mood strikes.

I use a bass lure, the wife uses live bait. Here's one of the bass I caught a few days ago.

I didn't do as good as normal this year but my 10 year old son caught his first largemouth, and first good sized catfish this year, which is just as good as me catching them .
