My birds used to have their favorite bushy area... I called it Sherwood Forest.
I also had an EE hen that looked identical to the one your son is holding.
I named her Bit 'O Honey. I just sold her about a month ago to a family who wanted some EE's.
(I only keep my laying hens 2 years --- yes, even the ones I name.)
And chickens DO love to eat up everyone else's food! LOL
My chickens love to eat from the pig's bowl cuz they know there's GOOD STUFF in there!
