Its sort of like a Christmas Carol for the soul

I saw it and had to go buy the book. I then bought Tuesdays with Maurey, and For One More Day (read that one on a plane after going home to see my momma a few days before she succumbed to cancer)

All beautiful stories. Five people is a great great story. One of my top ten favorites.

Me too...I can't handle movies that make me cry.

My kids took me to see Armageddon and I was crying so hard I couldn't get up and leave the theater until I could get control of myself.

When they left her dad on that asteroid it was just more than I could bare...I had just lost my dad about a year before and I was still grieving...my kids felt really bad. They had no way of knowing that was going to happen and I understood that but I still couldn't stop crying. I think the employees at the theater thought I was nuts....it was all very embarrassing.

didn't know it was a movie also. I read the book. It's been a couple years but I still remember it was a great book.

did I think it was a sad movie? No...

Did I get a lump in my throat because of its message and content? Yes...

This movie, especially at Christmas - but again at any time of the year, is touching and spiritually moving (but thats JMO) and it makes you think about things

and what we do in our own lives that affect others.

Again, think "A Christmas Carol" but from a different perspective...

May you enjoy it as much as we did
