These chicks have lived in a crate in our living room under a light since we got them. Over the past few days, they have seemed absolutely fidgety and ready to move out. They seem like they are ready for the outdoors and the big coop, but I want to make sure I don't shock them by moving them from being under a light all the time to being in the coop. They are still too little to be integrated into the flock, so I was going to move them into the coop, crate and all, so that they can be observed by the rest of the birds without being attacked. They have their feathers, so they should be fine temperature-wise. Should I have them outside during the day and bring them back in the house at night or should I just make the transition and trust that they'll be alright?
