Well, we made it! All 8 of my first batch of chicks have reached 5 weeks old and are happy, healthy, and active as heck! I took some pics of them yesterday while they were playing in the yard and this is what I got.

i love how the teenage light brahma heads make them look like they are ancient old men. it reminds me of that movie the curious case of benjamin button or whatever it was called.
 
Oh I love em'! They are so active and inquisitive and so much fun. How long does it take for them to finally get all of their feathers and when can they go out into the coop? It's not done yet...but should be in about 2 weeks hopefully!
