"fixing" roosters??? (so they wont mate)

i have heard that some people have gotten roosters fixed or neutered (dont no the term for chickens) has anyone ever heard of that?

Yes it's called caponizing - and is often done to 'mellow' the rooster so he can grow out to table-size weight.

It can be learned - but I've not learned yet. Our extra roosters go to Camp Frigidaire when they're "cornish hen" sized birds.
