Fleeing the Coop

My girls had an attack yesterday and one was killed...I have two chickens left. One has been hanging around today like normal but the other is missing, looked everywhere. They're usually back in the coop by dusk but I have not seen the missing one. Is this typical behavior after such a traumatic event?

Are we sure that one wasn't attacked and dragged off as well?

Positive. Both of them were here this morning and walking around the yard as per usual. Unless she got dragged off during the day...

Usually a predator that has had success will be back for more.

I had one that for dragged off in broad daylight.
