Not sure where I can post this but, I need an answer. I sell my eggs to a friend, and she in turn, sells them to her friends. The eggs I sell are pretty fresh and I leave them out vs. refrigerating them.
One of my friend's customers says that my eggs float. She thinks the eggs are bad. I use my eggs and they seem fine to me. The only ones I ever had a problem with are the really old ones, and I won't use them if they are too old.
My question is, is the float test used to determine if an egg is bad, or if it is old? I keep hearing from my friend that she says the eggs are bad.
I am not sure what to make of this. I have sold many eggs and no one has ever complained of getting a bad egg.
Thanks for any help on this.
