Well, it's all that's available locally. Three feed stores and a TSC in my local area and none will carry an organic, higher protein starter* 
All in all I've been very happy with the results I've got from it with the 40 various birds I've raised.
I wish that anywhere in the several books I read on Guineas it had said to up their niacin. None did, and I read tons. Whereas everything you read on ducks is sure to mention it. If I ever raise anymore keets, I'll add to it.
I'm on the fence a bit now about my statement saying I'd never raise keets with chickens again. My ladies all started laying this week and all in the coop nest boxes. It sure beats having to go on a multi acre egg hunt daily to find them. I mean... I did get them for tick control, but it sure is nice to have the eggs as well.
*Edit to add: Actually... I take that back. I did see an organic meat bird starter at TSC this season.
