We are far less intrested in price than in them going to a good home. The 'price' is just so people don't go "ooh look... free dinner." If you would like you can make a donation to a charity of your choice and show us proof that you donated and we would accept that
My husband and I are having to sell our home and move to another state. We have looked into ways to take our chickens with us but its just not possible. We would like to have them go to pet homes (rather than ending up on a table) but we know that that's a lot to ask. Ideally we would like them to go as a group because we really don't have the time to try to place them out singly or in groups.
Last year I went through the MMH catalog and did the whole "one of those... one of those... one of those..." so yes.. our flock is very very very diverse! I have something like 30 breeds. I don't know the exact number of hens (no roos) But I think I have like 35 year old birds (still laying well) and like 10 or so 6 week olds (including one frizzie white chochin bantam that was supposed to be a girl but is looking a wee bit like a boy).
I have SCADS of pictures on my profile of them as well as pics of the mobile coop that is also for sale.
They need to be rehomed soon
I will miss them alot but we have to leave here asap.
