Ok, I've been feeding my entire flock a mix of scratch grains and laying pellets. I have 5 roosters and 8 hens (about to be 8 hens and 2 roosters as soon as I can catch them). Would flock raiser or laying pellets be better?

Flock raiser would be better for the roos but the hens need to be offered calcium as well. If the flock raiser has more protein, or animal protein, and the layer is less protein or no animal protein, personally I'd feed the flock raiser with oyster shell on the side. JMO.

If they free range I would use the flock raiser and offer oyster shell I use gamebird food since mine free range. It has really seemed to help when they molt and their feathers are really nice.
