Assuming you have a wood floor. I would think linoleum would be easier to clean ... You could lay that first or even a wood sealer before the linoleum. Only precaution with that product & sealer, is the smell. Chickens have very sensitive respiratory system. Other BYC member will be chirping in, see what they recommend.

No, I wouldn't use it, below a description from their web site. It's used for patching cracks. Black Jack 57 is what quite a few of us on here have used. 57 holds up real good, has less odor than paint when you apply it, dries like paint with no lingering odors. I've had it on my floor for 3 years without any problems.

BLACK JACK® Roof-Patch is an extra tough, flexible repair compound designed to patch splits, cracks and holes in roof surfaces. This water based patch dries quickly to a non-tacky surface which offers great adhesion to all coatings applied over it. It is designed to repair cracks and holes up to 1 In. in width. BLACK JACK® Roof-Patch should be used with seam and repair fabric. BLACK JACK® Roof-Patch remains flexible while it expands and contracts with your repair, making it ideal to use with all reflective roof products.

Black Jack Rubr-Coat #57 comes in gallon size cans and 5 gallon pails. If you decide to use this, turn the can/pail upside down 1 - 2 days before you apply it, this will help when you stir it. It is thick on the bottom and will take a lot longer to stir, if you don't. I used a long piece of 5/4 board to stir mine, it took about 15 minutes, to mix it good. It goes on pretty easy, I used a 4 inch paint brush to apply it to the floor and 12 inches up the wall. It is best to apply 2 coats. The second coat can be applied 24 hrs after your first coat, it may still be slightly tacky, but that's normal. After your second coat, let it cure for 7 - 14 days depending on your heat and humidity. I let mine cure for 7 days, then put some pine shavings down in one area. I walked on them and they didn't stick to the floor, so I called it good and added all my shavings and put my chicks in.

I'm a retired roofer... the only real difference between the two is color. One is white and the other one is black. I would use if you don't already have paint on hand.
Let it dry for a few days..Youll find this has more of a thick texture and smell
more like a latex paint...
I just mixed up 4 different colors of paint and used it.

This. Exactly what I used and looks similar to my coop. No issues at all so far.

How much time do your birds spend in the coop?
If they are like mine and only use it for sleeping and egg laying year round, you can use two coats of Porch and Floor paint. I picked up a can of Oops paint at Home Depot for $9 and it easily covered the floor, the bottoms of the poop boards and nest box (about 280 sq ft total area) with about a quart to spare. $9. I'm sure it will hold up better than the paint that was already on the floor of the building I converted into my coop.
