this is what my hutch looks like but right now it has the silver bottom but its not meant to be that way its not completely put together hecne the gap. the original floor that came with it is a wire bottom like the sides of the hutch, are my 9week old babies supposed to be on pine shavings or can this wire bottom be good for them. i don't wanna hurt their feet.help!

They say that the heavier breeds should never be put on wire. I personally don't think it's good for any of them, heavy or not.

i have a hutch simlar to that i have a plywood floor i dont like the wire idea.. even in my big pens its a dirt floor..
