Flopping middle toes........

I have a 5 week old chick that the middle toe of both feet flops like there is no bone in them.
It walks funny, can't perch, but otherwise seems perfectly healthy. Eats/drinks normally.
Any ideas as to problem/cause?

Could be birth abnormality or broken toe. You can try splinting it for a little while, see if that helps.
