Morning,
We have a 2 year old Australorp that has gone lame.
3 days ago we noticed her sitting on the ground a lot and not walking much.
A day later she lost all control oif her legs. They are totally limp and she leans to one side because she cannot get her feet under her.
She also has loose/runny stool that is greenish.
Also not eating or taking much water in.
We have her quarantined in hopes that what she has does not spread to our other hens.
We do not beleive it Merricks disease in that what we have read referes to lesions which she is not exhibiting at this time.
We started her on tylan yesterday but seems to have done little
Any ideas??
