My fiancé and I built this coop using an up cycled boat engine box. We're going to start on the run later this week. Any tips or suggestions? I've been around chickens before, but never had any of my own. I have 4 (the limit in my neighborhood
) week old chicks right now, a Silver Laced Wyandotte, Rhode Island Red and 2 Buff Orpingtons. We plan on letting them have access to the entire back yard once they're old enough, so we're keeping the run on the small side. Thanks for any info!
Thanks! The back side has a large open "window" covered in hardware cloth too, so there should be lots of ventilation. Eventually I want to raise it up a couple of feet, so they'll have a completely open area underneath
