Hi guys I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's safe to grow fritillaria around my chickens coop?

I haven't researched that particular plant but in my experience, as long as they have options, they won't eat things they shouldn't.

Its supposed to smell bad and repel the mice cause they dont want to be around the stink. I'm trying to find kid and animal safe ways to get rid of them so I dont have to worry about someone touching or eating poison. Not so much the mice but my kids and dogs or the chickens.
