Fluid on Egg, Help Please!

Ok this is my second time hatching chickens and my eggs are beginning to pip! But one egg is collecting a reddish fluid on it and I can't visibly see any hole or crack in the egg. Anybody know what's wrong?

Yikes, not totally sure. My last hatch, I did have an egg that had fluid coming out, I could not see a pip. Turns out that one died a few days+ earlier and was oozing. Gross. Hope that is not what happened to yours!

It sounds like what squawkbox described, it may be dead, what day is it on? Is it day 21?

The chick inside the egg died , but the rest of the eggs hatched! XD So I only lost that one, and it looks like it had died around day 16 based on a few embryo growth charts.

I had ten eggs in the incubator and 9 of them hatched
