Foamy Chick Poop

My week old chicks are pooping yellow, foamy, poop. I gave them a dosage of nutri-drench water and some mealworms as a treat and now their poop is like this. Any idea why? And what I should give them?

Is all the poops like that or are you seeing formed poop too?

Do they have grit available free choice?
At a week old, likely the vitamins help make a looser stool. That looks like cecal poop with a bit of foam.

Are they eating/drinking/active?

They’re pooping formed poop as well.
No grit available to them yet and they are super active and eating and drinking normally. Just concerning because it all seemed to happen after I had given them the nutri-drench in their water.

Nutri-Drench does have Molasses, so it could have helped cause the loose stool.
Cecal poop happens about once out of every 8-10 "normal" poops, so you will find loose, stinky pudding like poops more and more as they grow.

Did your chicks end up being okay? Mine have droppings that are similar and I wonder if it could be cocci.

They are healthy and doing good.

This looks like a normal cecal poop. I wouldn’t worry at all.
