Food and Water being knocked over every morning!

Every morning my eight week old chicks knock over their water and food, it's so annoying! I already have their food and water on about three inches of wood. Please help, I'm running out of vitamins!

A lot of people hang them if that’s an option for you. I chose to get bigger, heavier dishes that hold more, the weight prevents knock overs.

Stop adding vitamins, they don't need it anymore.

Thank you, but right now they are in the same coop as the older ladies with a barrier so we can't currently hang them, but when they fully go in with the rest of the flock, the food is hanging.

What containers are you using? Photos might help. It's hard for me to come up with specific suggestions when I don't know what you are working with.

I built a feeder out of scrap wood that was heavy enough they can't knock it over. I've placed a waterer next to a side where I could loop a wire over it to keep it upright. I now use a black rubber dog dish as a waterer, fill it with rocks to make it heavy so they cannot turn it over but can drink in the cracks between the rocks.
