Hello;
I'm finishing up building my coop and have a question about food and water "dishes." My coop is an enclosed coop/henhouse on the top half, and an open-air, mesh enclosed area on the bottom half. Can I put the food/water dishes in the top enclosure, or do I need them in both the top and bottom. The hens will either have access to both top and bottom at the same time, or be secured in the top half at night or when we're away, so they would always have access to the food/water. Are they smart enough to go "upstairs" for water when they're "downstairs" scratching and lounging in the run?
Thanks,
Lora
