what are your takes on Shrimp Cooked or raw as treats
also could i give them mullet left over from fishing??

We give our girls cooked shrimp tails and they love them. I think when it comes to seafood, I'd cook it since they can carry parasites. Just better safe than sorry, y'know?

What about the finger mullet?

Had to look that up--never heard of it. Anyway, I guess you could toss them some. Cooking something that small would be difficult. Unless you put some in a steamer basket and steam them? Or poach them, perhaps. I don't know how frequently finger mullet carry parasites; could be not at all since they're so young. Just use your best judgement, I suppose. Maybe someone else can offer some insight into this?

My chicks love fish! When I fillet some fish I catch I place the carcasses in a bucket for disposal. The chicks pick at the bits of meat between the fish bones - seems to be a real treat for them.

Thanks they do like the shrimp I think I am going to try streaming the finger mullet on the grill and then give it to them.
