Food reccomendation for growers?

We have 4 ten week old chicks. When we ran out of chick starter I bought a bag of grower from TSC- I think it was the purina brand. The stuff is a dusty powdery mess! The girls wont eat the powdered stuff that is left over and it seems to be filling half the feeder. What a waste! Is there a better brand to try? TSC is close by but we also have a local feed store- I'd be willing to spend a bit more to get a brand that isnt such a mess and waste.

At 10 weeks we still fed starter. I think they were 14 or 15 weeks when we switched to what our store calls "multi flock" which is made by kent feeds.

You can wet the powder (only a day's worth) to make a mash and they will love it.
