Foot/Feather Injury?

I have a two month old polish silkie mix. When I got home today I noticed that Peeper was limping. I inspected the foot and found this....I'm still pretty new to chickens and have yet to see something like this. I have no clue what do to help fix this. please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a broken blood feather, generally it's recommended to pluck it out, not sure if I would unless it bleeds profusely though.
