Foot injury?

I don't think there's a way to post videos, but I'll see if I can link one later. I have a hen who's started limping, doesn't want to put much weight on one leg. It just started today while I was at work, so I'm not sure when or what happened. There's no obvious wounds on her foot or leg, doesn't flinch when I touch any area, and is still hopping around acting normal (aside from the hopping and being a bit stressed). I think she must have landed funny or strained something somehow. I've separated her in our quarantine for the night and plan to reasses tomorrow. Has anyone dealt with something similar? How did you manage?

She looks like she might have a broken foot. It can be hard to tell a sprain from a fracture without an xray. Does it look swollen and green on the top of the foot? She may need to be confined some to a wire dog crate with food and water so that she doesn’t overuse the foot or jump up and down from the roost. It can take several weeks for a bad sprain or fracture to heal.

No, there's no discoloration yet. I'll keep an eye out for that. She's been separated into our smaller box run until tomorrow so I can see if it improves at all or get noticeable worse.

Splinting or wrapping can sometime help for support, but sometimes splinting can get too tight and cause more problems. Here is a video of a similar injury and how the person treated it:

Lil update on Hatchett for anyone still watching, her toe is much better. She still has a limp, and might for the rest of her life, but she gets around just fine, and is happy and healthy in every other way.Thank you to everyone who offered advice!
