I just noticed that a few of my cockerels have swollen feet. I am soaking them in hot water now and will take pics but since it is both feet I dont think it is bumble foot. I cant use anything but topical antibiotics as these guys will go to freezer camp if not purchased and I have been raising them organically.
Can anyone think of what wpould cause both feet to swell and become infected? its not that bad now (although not good either) but I have no idea as to what could cause it.
If there was a mouse or something in the coop would they bite the feet of juvanile birds? it is the only thing I can think of.
I will post pics once they are washed and cleaned and can be seen well. But would love to trouble shoot this here on BYC cause I am at a loss.
