My cat just came in my bedroom and laid down under my desk. From the heat off her she was just laying beside/under/behind the wood stove. That is the only heat source in this house. Being a short hair she loves the heat, but comes to see me once she is nice and warm. I just slide my feet right under her for a quick warm up. As long as she is not in a playing mode this works. During those times she rolls up around my legs and starts to chew.
