Yes on feathered legs, less than brahma's. they'll look like the legs are dirty......not a good site.

The combs will be single as I think pea combs are recessive genes like rose combs are.

On coloring, not so sure. Probably a dirty white as white is usually dominant. Buff is usually recessive. The columbia pattern on neck/tail will probably be less but still there.

While feathered legging is supposed to be dominant I found with the accidental cross I had with black Orpington hens and a light Brahma rooster they did not express the feathered legging at all mostly, one had about 2 feathers each leg up high. You never noticed them unless you picked the bird up. They were slow to mature and never got the size of the Orps (my Brahmas were very slow maturing and not big) I did not keep any so I can't tell you if they were good layers or not, but they tasted just like chicken.

I would not be at all surprised if you got a sex-linked chicken, with buff females and whitish (perhaps murky columbian) males.

My BO/SLW crosses do have single combs, but my Easter Egger/RIR crosses -where the male had the pea comb- all had pea combs. So it's possible either way.

If they're both good birds, I say go for it! (And post pics!)
