i guess a watched turkey never hatches... so the ONE day i dont go out there every darn hour... and the day i decide that maybe i should take her off the eggs... i went out there and there is a poult with BR turkey hen #2!

for heavens sakes. i give up. i just dont know anything.

she is still sitting on a big clutch so we brought the little one in to be friends with Mr Pipps and The Insane Chick Posse... and will wait and see if anymore hatch.

you coulda knocked me over with one of the tiny feathers off that poult's fluffy little bottom.

i'm slack jawed and buggy eyed.
