Look what I got for $15!

The guy had two of them and I talked him out of one. His chickens are actually using the second one, but he promised he'd let me have it when and if he ever left the chicken business. My BO are 20 weeks old so I am hoping the girls will be needing this soon. The guy had this one laying behind his barn in the weeds!

A little paint and some new boards in the bottom....Presto! Just like new!

N i c e , if the floors are bad I cut thin ply wood for mine, works great

yep.. the floors were bad in each of the nests and all had to be replaced. It took less than 30 minutes to cut the wood and replace each of the floors though. No work at all really. I also took some silver "Rust Curb" paint to it, as it was starting to show some rust. The roosts on the front were a bit rough, but the boys painted them with some Barn paint. I intend to replace those eventually. But for now... it's very usable and I am so proud of it
